Mosquito Nets

Over the course of a year the congregation of St Machar's Cathedral in Aberdeen have been putting their loose change in a demi-john at the back of the church. This has been donated to Uganda Schools Trust whenever it has been filled. As a result the Trust was able to purchase 30 mosquito nets in Fort Portal, buying up almost the entire stock in town. The nets were taken to Glorious Preparatory School in Kasese where the head teacher, Mbambu Jonah had identified the most needy families who were then visited and given a net. The village where the 'Glorious' children live is particularly poor and prone to mosquito borne malaria
